I hear you can use toothpaste on your dreads, is this true?

Dr Edd Says.....
Toothpaste is for brushing your teeth, not putting in your dreads!

Alot of people who claim to want to grow all natural dreads say they sometimes use toothpaste in their locks but aside from looking stupid and smellying of off peppermint, the toothpaste contains SLS which is not a natural substance so using toothpaste to maintain "natural" dreads is a completley false idea.

If you want something to hold your locks together the best thing i can reccomend is the DreadFX dreadlock wax, its all natural and washes in and out of your dreadlocks with ease without gunking your locks up at all like some other waxes can.
